Parents who wish to enroll their children for next year, must please do so before 23 August 2010.

*  Proof of residential address

*  Certified copies of both parents’ ID books

*  Certified copy of learner’s birth certificate

*  Copy of last report

*  Transfer form form previous school

*  Certified copy of both parents’ latest pay slip

*  R1 000 deposit (part of school fee)

*  R60 donation (Administrative costs for Prospectus)

As deel van ons bemarkingsinisiatief, gaan die gr. 3 leerders van Vrijzee Voorbereiding ons skool die volgende twee weke besoek.  Ons gaan hul uitstappie afskop met ‘n poppekas deur ons eie leerders, en dan onderneem hulle ‘n vinnige toer deur die skool om onder meer die mediasentrum en kunsklas te sien.  Die oggend eindig in die rekenaarlokaal waar leerders ‘n aktiwiteit op die rekenaar sal voltooi.  Ouers word herinner dat Vrijzee Voorbereiding nie verbonde is aan Laerskool De Vrije Zee nie, en dat graad 3 leerders ingeskryf moet word vir gr. 4 in 2011.  Inskrywings is reeds oop!

Ons wil graag ons skoolgebou verfraai, maar het die ondersteuning van ons ouers en gemeenskap nodig.  Ons het dringend die volgende skenkings nodig:

*  Verf

*  Arbeid – indien u werkloos is, en nie u skoolfonds kan betaal nie, kontak die skool. 

*  ‘Scaffolding’

Kontak asb. die skoolhoof indien u ‘n skenking wil maak!

As part of our Safe School Policy, our learners will take part in a fire drill today.  We would like to motivate our parents to talk to our learners about fire safety. 

Opvoeders neem vanmiddag deel aan ‘n brand-bestrydingskursus – Nou sal ons letterlik deur die vuur kan loop vir ons kinders!

A big thank you to Milo, who visited our school recently!  Learners were entertained by two soccer players, and shown various football tricks.  Educators and learners are all ready for the Fifa World Cup, as the Milo team ensured that we all know the Diski Dance.  Afterwards the learners enjoyed a cup of Milo in preparaion for our own soccer tournament.  Congratulations to the winning teams!

Baie sterkte aan Mnr. George Van Schalkwyk wat hierdie naweek vir die eerste keer aan die Comrades deelneem!  Ons dink aan jou, en wens jou alle sterkte toe!
