There are number of features on this website that you should be aware of:
1. The Events Calendar (top right) is a daily reminder/informer of what is happening at the school. If a block is Yellow it means that there is an entry or entries for that day. The Orange number is today's date. To view a preceding or next month, simply click on the arrows on the top left of the Events Calendar. If you have something important that you feel the De Vrije Zee community should know about then contact the school via email with your "short, concise" message at least two (2) days prior to the event and if the school feels that the message warrants publication, they will insert it into the Calendar.
2. On the left you will notice two advertisements which rotate each time you return to the home page. To advertise here will cost R 350.00 per term per advertiser. Naturally, as a school we welcome the support from local businesses and rest assure the revenue generated will be put to good use for our Learners.
3. If you click on the Quick Link called Yellow Pages (top left), we also offer a larger space to place the same advertisers shown on this page, except here the advertiser will be hyperlinked to their own website, should they so desire. This section allows for a larger space to list all the relevant services and contact details of the advertiser. This is included in the by Term fee of R 350.00. Should you wish to advertise here you can contact our website hosts, Web4Schools, at marketing@sportinlo.co.za
4. One the right below the Events Calendar, you will see the De Vrije Zee Badge which is the link to download the school website Shortcut Logo onto your desktop. To visit us all you have to do is click on the Badge on your desktop. To Download the Shortcut: Click on the badge, a pop-up window will appear, Save File, then depending on your program, it may start downloading the file (it is very small). Once that is completed, click on the new download and open it. Click Run. A new window will open, Click Next, Click on I Agree, Click on Finish. Now you will have the shortcut on your desktop so that you can visit the De Vrije Zee Primary School website every day! The other Icons are links to our friends which you may click on to view them.
