Netball
This year the netball season started early and the girls have lots of fun. We have netball every Monday and Wednesday from 14h30 to 15h30. Matches take place on Wednesdays. Not only do we have very eager teams this year, we also have enthusiastic coaches! All girls are welcome, even if you have never played netball before! Join us for some fun on and off the netball courts!

Tennis
Tennis is played during the first and fourth term.

Practice days are on Mondays and Wednesdays, if no matches are scheduled for the Wednesday. Practice times are from 14:30 – 15:30.

Grades 4 & 5 play at the school, and grades 6 & 7 practice at the Milton Sports Ground. The dress code for practices and matches is the DVZ Sport Uniform.

Landloop
Land Service is a nation-wide, educational youth-movement that will educate youth in the handling and preservation of the environment. This movement offers healthy stimulating activities, healthy and creative use of leisure, opportunity to serve the community, a climate of good fellowship and solidarity, knowledge and experience and Fund Raising Events.

This youth-movement is open to all learners who persue the goal to be a good citizen of our country. The once-off registration fee amounts to R40 (payable to Land Service SA). Mrs Louisa Stoffberg drives the Land Service at De Vrije Zee Primary School and is proud to be involved.

Landloopoefeninge by ons skool, vind plaas op ‘n woensdag van 14:30 – 15:30. Wedstryde vind op Vrydae na skool plaas. At the cross country practises we aim to increase our fitness levels by doing various kinds of exercises. Ons missie is om ‘n liefde vir oefening en veral landloop aan te wakker en te versterk. We all know that a healthy body houses a healthy mind!

Skaak
(Tweede en derde kwartaal)

Ons skaakspanne neem deel teen 3 buurskole nl. Parow-Wes, Parow-Oos en Parow Noord. Die skaak-klub kom byeen op maandae en woensdae vanaf 14:30 tot 15:30, en wedstryde vind gewoonlik op ‘n vrydag plaas.
