Arts & Crafts
Craft is a great opportunity for learners to explore and make use of most different art mediums. We offer Craft Classes on a Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 14:30 – 15:30.

We started off with the making of by making cardboard houses, and then they learned to make coil clay pots.

The next big project will be the painting of jars (glass- painting), and bead work.

Mediasentrum
Hierdie sentrum is die trots van ons skool. Boeke is en sal altyd die primêre bron van inligting bly. Dit is dus De Vrije Zee se strewe om die beste literatuur tot die beskikking van ons leerders te stel.

Leerders vanaf graad 4 tot en met graad 7 ontvang media-onderrig volgens ‘n vasgestelde program.

Alle leerders is welkom om die sentrum te besoek gedurende tweede pouse en na skool, behalwe Dinsdae en Vrydae.

First Aid
The first aiders work hard during the year, we had a lot of injuries luckily none to serious, and here at De Vrije Zee we have a very well trained first aid team. The team members do duty every break and on match days on the sport field at Milton road. They also assist during the carnival and on fun days. Thank you to the 2010 team.

Hip Hop
It is with great excitement that De Vrije Zee Primary would like to introduce Modern Dance Classes at the school. We have managed to secure a very professional trainer to help ensure that the quality of the lessons will be of the highest standard. In today’s modern culture the children have shown the urge to partake in a cultural activity that stretches beyond the normal activities offered by most schools.

Lessons will be offered every Thursday between 14:30 and 15:30. The cost of the lessons amounts to R80 per month.
